Mary M. Davies was born in New Orleans, and grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her work is forthcoming in The Antigonish Review, and has appeared in Fiction, on MonkeyBicycle.net, and in Arts & Letters: Journal of Contemporary Culture, where it was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is working on her first novel, set in Halifax. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and daughter.
